"The Lilac Party . . . "

Greetings,

The new office is moving along quite nicely - and I'll post images of the new space once I'm a bit more settled into it.  But, with all the excitement of sorting and culling through 10 years of assorted pictures and memories - I came across these fun pictures - getting ready for a party at my house.  A little gathering from last summer.

My vintage china.  My ongoing collection of antique silver flatware.  With a centerpiece of flowers, ferns, and herbs.   And, frankly, I don't even remember what I served - lol.  But, I do remember several hours of great conversation gathered around my dining table.

Collecting silver on an ongoing basis isa the best way to go. One day you'll go out and spluge and buy the remaining bits. I did the same with the Waterford glass.

I should use it all more!

You know how I feel about gorgeous tablescapes...well, maybe you don't. I love your lilac table. The crystal is amazing and the setting even more so.
It's such a crummy day today that I feel I should get out the dishes and play with them. You've inspired me, once again! ~Delores

Breathtakingly luxurious but cozy and sooo elegant, as someone who loves fine china, sterling flatware and fine etched crystal..those pics made my heart sing!

The crystal is GORGEOUS!!! I love playing with my dishes, entertaining and making a table SPECIAL for my guests! But it is always the wonderful conversation that is the best part of the evening! XO, Pinky
