Yes, the room does appear to have upholstered walls with gimp trim at the seams. marvelous.

I'll join this love. Was just devouring the new book earlier today. I'm nuts for fabric + walls right now. Also, the table setting in her book are delish.
Alessandra is extremely creative and one has to admire her bold designs... Love the queen of red. Am very excited to read her new book coming out next month!
