"Sunday Runway, Holiday . . . "
Greetings,
Hey everyone! With the holidays coming so quickly, did you buy anything new to debut at one of your holiday parties? A fancy new pair of shoes? A beautiful velvet blazer? Some swanky new plaid pants?
Please. Everyone share . . .
Cheers,
Scot

I'll start.
I found a wonderful new blackwatch tailcoat - that I can't wait to wear . . .

I'm all full up on Holiday kit. I've got all the tartan/velvet etc required. But what I HAVE been buying are these inexpensive (relatively) Kilim slippers from a lady in England.
I bought a picture frame for one of my photos which I am giving as a gift door prize at a #JingleTweet Holiday Party in South Norwalk, CT in early December.
Wonderful ornaments from Pottery Barn!

Not yet, but have to get shopping, as we have a few things coming up. Part of the fun of the holidays is always treating yourself to one little special something:)
Since the company I work for can't afford a Christmas party this year and nobody else I know throws a party, I won't be buying anything to wear at a holiday party. But I will be making a wreath for my living room and maybe buying a new Christmas CD.
A beautiful black velvet vest that I can;t wait to wear with a pair of chiffon pants...hurry up parties!
I've not bought anything yet. Those Kilim slippers ADG above mentioned sound interesting! Care to share the source? Thanks.
Everyone loves show and tell, me included!. My fiance' David bought me a gorgeous Theory leather zip up jacket with a fur (which I will remove) collar. Shiree'
Karen,
Here's a link for more info on the shoes that ADG spoke of.

Take a look at Holly Mathis' post today (11/29) - the last pic looks a lot like something I've seen on your blog. Holly credits it coming from pinterest via a blog called Three Pink Dots. I don't have a blog, but for those who do, especially designers like yourself, like for credit to be properly attributed.
Marla,
That is. in fact. an image of my home. I just left her a noting saying as much.
Thanks for the call-out!

A gunmetal sequin skirt (scored on e-bay) for me! Cheers! franki
Thanks for the info, Scot! I enjoyed reading ADG's post about the Kilim items (that club chair is absolutely gorgeous!). Now, I'm off to order at least one (maybe two) pairs of those Kilim shoes.
Some antique-y gold belgian loafers. Can't wait to wear them with everything. Jennings bought a smashing new tweed vest.
