"Sunday Runway, Milan . . . "

Greetings,

I thought I'd share a few of my favourite images from the men's shows in Milan this last week for Fall of 2012.  Beautiful leathers.  Great sweaters.  Perfect accessories.  Classic suitings.

What's your favourite?

Cheers,
Scot

Nice to see D&G's use of bowties. Love the dark teal velvet jacket with the brown pants. Beautiful. Interesting to see that the 'cut' is still very slim in most cases.

i believe the overused word today is "stunning!"
but that's just what these are. sometimes the word just fits.
there is simply something about a man in a tweed cap carrying an umbrella, regardless of what else he's wearing!!!

Burberry . . . mmmmm!
I love the structure - are men's trousers getting shorter though?
Love the Burberry. I'm not a fan of the higher hems. It's very hip and young and I guess I'm not.

Heelllooo.... Every one of these lads is suitable for starring in a lush personal fantasy featured in some Victoria Era scenario.

Well...you know... if I were into that sort of thing and all...
Daniel - the cuts across the board definitely felt very close to the body . . .

Tricia and Steve - Thom Browne kinda started the shorter hem on trousers several years back (though his are much more extreme), but the look does seem to be to new 'correct' length if you're going for something more fashion forward.

Really disliking the new pant. I can't imagine those skinny legs being attractive to a woman or a man.

Gorgeousness all around, I can't pick a favorite although I would wear Dolce #4 myself, that jacket rocks.

Love the Dolce and Gabbana collection. Fabulous suits and I love the second one with the velvet lapel and looser cut trousers. Oh, and the bow ties. Having just attended a black tie wedding reception at the Julia Morgan Ballroom, I noticed the shorter length and slimmer fit trouser on the younger men. ~Delores

I guess I am an old fogey! Those short pants and jackets look like the housekeeper put them in the washing machine and dryer by accident!

Tee hee! Love the leather jacket!
