"Uptown Downstairs Abbey . . . "

Greetings,

For all of you who have been waiting with bated breath for the second season of "Downton Abbey" . . . . this, sadly, is not going to be it.  But instead, what the UK has brought us is a delicious parody of the popular series - as part of the "Red Nose Day" charity telethon.

Giggle and enjoy . . .

Cheers,
Scot

Oh Scot, bless you for posting this -- "Patsy" and "Edina", together again! Busted my guts laughing. Favourite scene was when they all did their "looks", and of course O'Brien's hair. And when "Patsy" mentioned she's friends with the Carnarvons. Hi-larious!

What a crack up! Hysterically laughing! Ab Fabs Edina n Patsy... Kim Catrall... the burping butler.. the knitted character and everybody's silly expressions! "I have important news to import of quite considerable importance to import! We are to be given the 2nd series!" Yeah!
Marvelous, Wonderful and Absolutley fabulous......
Love the characters - especially Patsy and Edina - Hysterical funny.
Have to see it over and over and over ....

BRILLIANT!
It was begging for a satire.
So deliciously tongue-in-cheek!

Your PBS and mine must be very different tonight. I sat down for what I thought would be a few moments of entertainment, but it was a show about the the inner-workings of ferret competitions. You know those 'people of Walmart'? They were all on this documentary with their show ferrets. There was a lot of fat, polyester, and bad T-shirts. And biting ferrets.

I moved to the UK this time of year and about the third day I was there was Red Nose Day. It took a bit of explaining for me to understand why everyone was wearing red noses.
