"Let's Walk Home Through the Park . . . "

Greetings,

Just wanted to share a few pictures from our first day in New York.  There's nothing like a long walk through Central Park - with a few inches of fresh snow on the ground . . . This city always look so magical . . . .

enjoy . . . .

The temporarily useless park benches . . . adding a sculptural element to the scene . . .

This just reminded me of "The Chronicles of Naria" . . . lol . . .

The statue of the Scottish poet, Robert Burns

Cheers,
Scot

Robbie Burns never looked so handsome. His birthday in fact is coming up this month. Central Park truly is magical. Thank you for sharing Scot.

Central Park in the snow, very Narnia indeed!
I just love the photo of Robert Burns sculpture covered with snow -a dramatic contrast between black and white and the tiny bit of snow on his feather pen. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, beautiful! Thanks for sharing these. Not sure if I'll ever get to NY so these are a treat.
The one that is just trees looks cool, the branches look like they are waving. You should frame some of these. Great shots.

Thank you for the walk in the park. Loved seeing the Robert Burns statue and the arbor too.
ahhh...glorious shots of Central Park. I was there a year ago next month and there was no snow...what a treat to capture this vision.

Okay call me dumb...why is Rabbie Burns in Central Park? I truly am interested in why there is statue of Rabbie in Central Park? This one blew me away. His birthday is January 25th and like true scots we will celebrate with an annual burns supper to honour the baird!! Tam O'Shanter, ode to the haggis, address to the ladies and all!! Pictures were awesome. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful pictures. The third almost looks like an oil painting. You should definitely have some of these frames. So dramatic.
