"Orange You Glad . . . "

Greetings,

With the proper Fall season quickly making its way towards us . . . I thought I'd spend a little time hashing about with some of my favourite autumn colours.  And clearly, orange is going to top that list.  It's not a shade that I'm able to use very often within my own home - but luckily, I have some very bold clients who let me scatter rich, warm shades of orange in their homes.

Take a peek at a few of our inspirational images from one of our current projects . . .

And a microscopic *ping* of orange in our recent project in Berkeley.

Orange you glad to stopped by?

Cheers,
Scot

In Buenos Aires, we loved walking around a neighborhood that was ultra ultra exclusive. And in that neighborhood were homes, one next to the other that were breathtaking.
One of my favorites, I have photos :) is a white home, with black gates and a very large and very orange front door.
I like image with the toile and touches of orange ..

I used to shy away from orange, but lately it's held my interest. That first room is my favorite, did you design it?

Oh my gosh that first image, the bedroom is stunning, I love the mix of patterns and the pop of burnt orange. This room totally confirms that what I have done with my guest bedroom by mixing checks and tartans and toiles is permissable :).

I would love if you had time Scott to pop and look at my bedroom reveal. I don't have the greatest camera but the shots are not too bad. My first attempt at re-doing a room properly by using a mood board first.

I Would love to know what you think at my first attempt...note I am not an interior designer, I just love design. I realise you are a busy person but would honor your input...possibly my reading lamp is too big for the room?

unfortunately, I don't have any contact info on that first image - it's been knocking around in my inspiration files for what seems like forever.

Hopefully - someone will recognize it and send me the contact info.

cheers,
Scot
Love that orange front door, the new red! You have made me rethink that warm color!

Love the first image also - all the texture and pattern - mmmm. The texture on the side rails of the bed and the table, and the way the pattern of the ticking merges in different ways on the bed - I just love it all. The orange keeps it from becoming too heavy. Perfect.
