"Shedding Winter . . . "

Hyde Park, London

Greetings,

Just been thinking about getting ready for Spring . . . . rebirth takes planning . . .

"Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl.  And the anticipation nurtures our dream."

this is so true. As much as we begrudge the Winter, the garden embraces the snow.

Scot,

I've started to lay out garden plans this week. It's exciting and the anticipation is worth it and I hope everyone enjoys the passing of this beautifully harsh winter. Celebrate it all because Spring is on the horizon. Beautiful pictures to steer us there. Thanks!

Oh how I long for snow! Spring is something we can always count on here in the south but snow, that's another story...
What a great opening sentence. Wish I'd written that!

My terracotta pots are also resting peacefully in the shed, dreaming of teaming up with lavender and rosemary…

Soon.. very soon.
