"Cocktail Friday - The Gin Fizz . . . "

Greetings,

It wouldn't be a proper summer without a proper Gin Fizz.  Let's toast to glorious afternoon, warm evenings, and good times with great friends!

The Gin Fizz

Ingredients :
  • 1 & 1/2 ounces gin
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/3 ounce sugar syrup
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2/3 ounce lightly whipped egg white (optional)
  • Chilled soda water, to taste

Give it a 'shake' in our 1930's era Cocktail Shaker.

METHOD

Shake up the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, sugar and egg white (if using) in a cocktail shaker with a little ice and strain into a highball glass half-filled with ice cubes. Top up with soda water.

Pour into a set of "Tally Ho" Cocktail Glasses

Take a peek at our entire collection of Vintage Barware at Scot Meacham Wood Home.  It's perfect for summer entertaining.

Cheers,
Scot
